Palpitations Following Local Anesthetic
With an amount close to 11 million pesos, the State Government of Veracruz, in coordination with the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT ), supported by the Joint Fund (FOMIX), eight research projects to be implemented in the state.
So informed, Victor Manuel Alcaraz Romero, general director of Science and Technology Veracruz (Covecyt), as administrative secretary FOMIX, adding that at its last meeting, the Technical Committee approved the fund supporting eight projects presented by researchers from educational institutions within and outside the state of Veracruz, among which the University of Veracruz, the Centre for Research and Higher Studies in Social Anthropology and the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
Alcaraz Romero said that the eight projects approved are only part of the proposals to be supported by the proposal, and said that in the near future be issued a new list of more projects to be financed by the Joint CONACyT-Veracruz.

worth mentioning that the above research areas are stated in the Call FOMIX 2008-2 of Veracruz, and respond to the priorities identified in the Development Plan 2005-2010 and Veracruz in Veracruz Program for Scientific and Technological Development.
