On Wednesday March 2, coinciding with the start of classes in the CEPT took place in the town Tornquist a gathering of family farmers. The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fishing of the Nation through the Secretariat for Family Agriculture organized the first meeting of the year in the situation room of the local municipality. On occasion technicians were also found different locations and institutions to participate in training in filling forms of RENAFER (National Register of Family Agriculture), allowing the accreditation of those people to register family farmers in the registry. Using this tool family farmers may participate or be beneficiaries of various programs of community empowerment and partnership with those who consider such Secretariat.
